Finally a bad ass game with marines!

Thats actually the game running with the texture pack!I own it!You can actually see that wend we jump to the window smack the guy and lands on the ground how shine the ground textures are in the train sequene,it is also very noticeable the leather textures on the train seats.One thing that puts me off its only the npc models that are very basicall,the expression are bland,and even if you look at your arms carring the gun its very bland and low texture.The game dont have any jaggies like BFBC2,and runs smoothly most of the time.The general graphics presentation is better than COD black ops, but the models of npcs and people are better on CODBO than on BF3,they are simply more detail in COD black ops.And the PC version is actually miles away from consoles.I have only tested the 360 version and PC.

I DISAGREE Kennyboy....I think Uncharted 3 Actually looks so so good that it almost feels like you are playing an interactive movie, not many PC games can do that...not even BF3. The graphics are so badass that when you think you are actually watching a CG clip, you are actually playing it in-game...For example: The helicopter scene in UC2...Graphics are just that damn good....and have you ever played Uncharted 2 on a HDTV with 240gh motionflow?...OMG its so beautiful!!! Uncharted 3 "at its least" looks like BF3 on medium setting for PC.

This is not the first level of Battlefield 3 its just the Prologue.

Just confirming, This is without texture pack.The uploader has confirmed as much.

after watching the footage i can confirm 2 things:

-this game is a cod wannabe
-the AI is stupid as donkey

amazing, cant wait to wake up friday with this sitting on my doorstep.

Do the high-res textures carry over to multi-player or are they just for single campaign?

Without texture pack and with texture pack, I assume you will have to adjust the resolution yourself e.g. from 360-720.

Why are they so reluctant to create a new Bad Company??

Definitely agree with the title. If they make Bad Company 3 then that would definitely be a step in the right direction!

It’s done. The current development team has no idea why people liked BF.

BF3? They need to go back to BF2 for the mainline. Heck, I'd settle for true-to-source remakes of BF2 and BC2 (w/ Vietnam). Everything they've done in the 'modern' era is just bad.

I've not played 2042 myself but after v I don't feel like it. I played a few hours of v with friends but it feels ultra sterile I can't figure it out but the game looks and feels clinical. The storys in the campaign were also bland and uninteresting and felt like a dull trudge through checkpoints as you waited for an ending.

I've played the franchise dating back to it's original PC launch and PS2 spin off games I did enjoy 1 overall and it's take on placing you in different scenarios and battles was interesting but not all that good imo as you couldn't really connect with any characters longer than 2 hours.

hardline for all the hate it recived was a fun story and a new take but a bad mp game

I feel like v overall was the turning point and instead of showing the gritty reality of war they turned everything sterile and presented it in a clean cut boring frame in order to pump it full of weird micro transactions overall they spent far to much time on trying to implant ray tracing and other graphical flourishes and forgot to make the game enjoyable

I mean thats all we've wanted since BF4 but they keep doing everything we don't want.
