my dad bought me a ps one when it just came out, i was like 4/5 years old back then.. now im a hardcore gamer and pro at battlefield and fallout

super mario on gameboy.... then quickly moved onto pc gaming with doom and dune 2..... those were the days where games were actually revolutionary.

Now i give it credit when deus ex 1/diablo 1 came out it was also revolutionary, but most games nowadays have only evolved

Ill never forget the first game I played, Jill Of The Jungle. I was at my mother's job waiting for her to clock out then one of her associates offered me a try on her PC to pass the time. It was really hard to enjoy because I never really used anything with buttons beyond the television remote but it managed to chalk up a good distraction.

Months later, my cousin's family came over for a visit with their NES and Megaman II and that pretty much sealed the deal for me.

When i was five my dad brought me and my sister 2 gameboy colors for my birthday.
I had pokemon red and she had pokemon blue.

Now im a hardcore gamer.

for me, i started gaming on ps1 because of FF7, tomba, crash bandicoot, suikoden and spyro.
then the ps2 came and i just played loads of games including kh 1 and 2, black, killzone, disgaea, nfs, sly series, max payne etc.
then i finally bought a ps3 this year and played the exclusives, uncharted, killzone, resistance, etc, and the awesome multiplatform games like dead space, the saboteur,alice, etc

gaming is awesome!

I miss the days when games were actually games. I mean they're still games today, but there just isn't that feeling of imagination anymore. To me almost every game is a hollywood simulator. Not that I don't enjoy them, but there's just that feeling you don't get anymore.

I remember the day we got our NES when i was a kid. My first game i played was Zelda, guess thats why i still love open world RPG's so much!

with my Super Nintendo ''Super Mario World and Street Fighter 2 turbo'' and i was 3yrs old

got a PSone soon after playing Sled Storm at friends house. I was like 6/7. I'm now 18, and still rate Sled Storm as my favourite game ever. hopefully SSX next year will recapture some of the magic of that game :)

PONG at Sears when I was 5 years old.

Definitely through my grandpa, he had every atari and prolly about 4 or 5 boxes of games. He even had a couple of really old pc's that pretty much only worked it you have a 5 1/2 floppy disc in...played my first text adventure game when I was like 4 and had no f@kin idea what I was doing. I still own my GameBoy still works only bad thing is the only game I have for it is tetris.

Hell the old man still sets up at night playing Myst games.

I cant remember the first thing but the earliest memory I have is super mario world on snes. Ive been gaming most my life but it didnt really pick up till I got my own console (gamecube).

I dunno if I played Pokemon first or rollercoaster tycoon. But one of the 2 got me into gaming lol.

I remember my father lifting me so i could get up high enough to play Robotron.

I remember my father and I played mighty morphan power rangers for the super nintendo and I fell in love with gaming ever since... I think I was 4

Frogger on Atari was my first game. Then I played Mario and Duck Hunt...but the game that turned me into a "gamer" was Double Dragon. Ah the memories...

I can't remember exactly what game I played first, but my mom and dad had a NES and then bought a SNES sometime after my brother and I were born. My first game was either Super Mario Bros, the original Legend Of Zelda, or Super Metroid. Then once my parents split up when I was 2, gaming was one of the only connections I had with my dad. So that pretty much sealed the deal, I have such fond memories of going to my dad's house and playing all the new games like Starfox 64 and Ocarina of Time. Ahh good times, I think its time for me to plug up my N64 again.

Coleco Telestar then the Atari 2600 started it for me.

Atari's Pitfall, River Raid and Space Invaders were my corner stone of gaming.

i must say, i've experienced the entire gaming generations from the Arcades through Consoles up until today but the that still reigns as the one game that leveled up my gaming experience to unparalleled extents, is DOOM. thank you id team, thank you Carmack and thank you Romero.

My parents bought an Atari 520ST.

our house always had alot of kids so my parents made sure we were entertained we had atari, nes, genesis, super nes, n64, psone, dreamcast, gamecube, xbox, ps2 but i hardly played any of them until a friend showed me the first god of war after that ive been buyin up all genres and loving it

Interestingly, 11 of the top 20 games are owned by Microsoft.

These franchises offend people too much. Better to make another walking simulator where you deliver packages.
