Leon from Plus XP gets a hands on preview of Mass Effect 3

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.

There is a spoiler in the article
The last sentence of the article sums up my cautious optimism on this title: "I just hope all my favorite characters return as recruitable squad members."
There was no other title I was looking more forward to then ME2 this generation and was very dissapointed to see a character like Ashley turn into a 2 minute cameo and instead spending my time with a new character like Jacob tell me about all his daddy issues.
I know Ashley looks to be returning in ME3 in some form but if she is not a main part of the squad (or Kaidan, or Wrex) then I will be dissapointed all over again. They were a huge part of the story then gone. It would be like Leia or Han missing in Empire.
ME2 was more about being Gears of War and less about story anyway.
than again this year on ps3 i just can't wait. And even though i have both games saved up on xbox360 my launch buying will be on ps3 since i played all the dlc on it.
also a smart choice would be to add comics from ME 1-2 like they did for Me2 on ps3 so people who missed one and two and catch up
