Grounding Inc. announces the studio has licensed Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for its upcoming game, “Project Draco” (tentative title). First exhibited at Tokyo Game Show in 2011 and scheduled for release in 2012 by Microsoft Studios on Xbox LIVE Arcade, “Project Draco” is a 3D action game that takes players into the sky on the wings of a dragon, battling a legion of enemies through the power of Microsoft Kinect. The award-winning power of Unreal Engine 3 breathes realistic life into the beautiful scenery and fantasy world of “Project Draco.”

Andriasang writes, "Project Draco went playable at today's Xbox 360 10th anniversary fan event in Akihabara. In addition to attendees getting a chance to go hands-on with the game, they were also given first official word of its new name, Crimson Dragon. The name had previously leaked out through overseas classification boards."
Cool name! Hopefully this game is as good as Panzer was. This is one title people cant bust on for being on rails, as Panzer was on rails with a standard controller back in the day.
Seems like all the best Kinect games are getting released on XBLA.
Haha, sounds like Crimson Skies. Damn you Microsoft, why don't you make a sequel to that!

Andriasang writes, "Microsoft is teaming up with Capcom for a Xbox 360 fan event to be held in Akihabara later this month. The big news from this event is that the long awaited Kinect title Project Draco will be playable."
As a big fan of Panzer Dragoon, I cant wait to get hands on or (kinect hands off) time with this game. I have been waiting for an update since Orta on the original xbox
Having loved Panzer Dragoon I am hopeful this game will capture some of that magic. This is one Kinect game I have had actual anticipation for so lets hope they did a good job with it.

XMNR: New screenshots of Project Draco appeared on Thursday along with an announcement from the developer, Grounding Inc, is using the Unreal Engine 3 to create the dragon shooter for the Xbox 360 and Kinect.
