I can't wait to finally play Batman Arkham City

It's wicked. Storyline is kind of loose though, kinda makes me feel they just wanted to push everything the possibly could into this game. One thing it isn't is boring though. :)

Rocksteady's New Game Director Is an Assassin's Creed Franchise Veteran

Rocksteady has hired a new game director that not only is an Assassin's Creed franchise veteran but even worked on the Batman Arkham games.

I wonder if ex Ubisoft employees put “worked on Assassins Creed” on their resume or not, as it would give an automatic red flag to avoid hiring them.

Unlike what we may personally think, most AC games have received generally favorable critical acclaim and managed enough commercial success to warrant an uncomfortable amount of sequels. 😂

neutralgamer1992268d ago

A series which has sold over 200 million copies should be on your resume contrary to popular belief people doing the hire want to know if you have had success before

TheColbertinator268d ago

Plenty of gamers enjoyed Valhalla, Odyssey, Ezio's trilogy and the Origins. High critical acclaim and high sellers to boot. Get off your high horse.

Inverno268d ago

The vast majority of the industry follow the Assassin's Creed template for open world games. The issue is fanboys wanna act blind to the fact that all the issues they have with AC are present in all the open world games made in the last decade. While also not having touched an AC game in that long.

It could be great! He worked as Design Director on Arkham: Origins & Game Director on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Valhalla and Origins.

I think this is a great sign that Rocksteady is shifting back to a Single Player experience after Suicide Squad. That's reason enough for me to celebrate.
