Game Guys preview - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Sitting down for a solid three hours worth of gaming may seem like a lot. After all, three hours is enough to play through a third or so of a season of Madden on its standard settings or play through roughly half of Bodycount's single-player campaign. In Obsidian/Bethesda's upcoming RPG epic The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, however, three hours barely scratches the game's surface.

"In Obsidian/Bethesda's upcoming RPG epic The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, however, three hours barely scratches the game's surface."

"Visually, Skyrim might be the most appealing title Obsidian has ever produced."

This kinda sh*t irritates me.

Obsidian didn't produce the game.

If you don't know who developed the game, your credibility as a journalist goes right down the crapper.

Correct! Why the hech is he giving Obsidian any credict what so ever for this game? Bethesda said many time that they would never hand off The ElderScrolls to an outside developer. I call BS on these facts. I think because Obsidian got to work with Betheda on Fall out New Vagas, that they are now a team and hence worked on Skyrim together. Wrong!

well when you look at the site it came from it's not really surprising

Annoys me as well, fully agree with the writer having no journalistic integrity.

TES is Bethesda's baby

The error has been fixed. The article's author said he went on "auto pilot" when writing and forgot that Obsidian no longer develops the franchise.

Johnny_Cojones5332d ago

The article's author should be informed that Obsidian never had anything to do with The Elder Scrolls series. They developed Fallout New Vegas for Bethesda. That's it.

Here's a rundown of what they've actually developed:

That's ridiculous, lol. I'm waiting for the guy that says its too cpu-intensive for the Switch 2. This game is old af and has been released like 17 times.
