A source on the IGN Forums has stated that all information will be revealed about the Wii on the 14th of September and goes on to list what will be included with the Wii package.

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.
Sorry, I linked to the news site. In case another article gets put on top, here's the direct link:

I must say I'm getting more and more into the Wii especially to put it besides my 360. It just feels right, where the gamecube couldn't interest me.
And I think the controller will make some fun especially at parties with lots of beer
I hope this rumor is true. 2 controllers and nunchucks with wii sports and possibly an SD card. Sounds good to me.How can you beat that at launch?????? yeah buddy
I can understand Nintendo putting in two Wiimotes with the nunchuks, and putting in Wii sports really appeales to its gaming community. It also appeals to their general target audience, so it does sound great. I would have liked them to add the classic remote, but it does make sense leaving other things for later.
Well the 2 remotes is a very good idea, no extra cost to get others to play. This would only work on a Wii and it's demographic.
