The beauty of PES 12 is that one doesn’t require an encyclopedic knowledge to pick-up-and-play, but the arsenal of technical maneuvers is a trademark of the series. It’s possible to play PES 12 with a simple four-button layout, but the true essence of the series exists in its immense control scheme. Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 was March's definite winner in the Greek market since, according to the GfK Hellas charts, managed to secure four places among the top 10!
Specifically, Konami's PES 2012 which has a huge fanbase in Greece, got the first, the third and the fourth place in the software sales chart with the versions for the PS3, the PS2 (!) and the PSP respectively. The PC version of the game was placed ninth.
