One of my favorite games this gen was the sequel, "bloodshot." Being chased by that giant black bear in the cabin was one of the scariest/most heart pounding videogame chase sequences ever! ..and I remember the on screen prompt readinf "run for your life!" Or something to that effect.

I still need to play the second one. I actually own it but not gotten around to it yet. The first one was brilliant though.

The second one scared the hell out of me. The bear chasing you through the house, the dark empty hospital, the black oily goo everywhere, the armored enemies chasing you, the sonic devices screeching in your ears, the mysterious messages on the television, the exploding dolls and moving manequins. Even the device you used to help solve the crimes was cool. Add in the arenas to help you practice your skills plus cool weapons like the lolipop blade and sonic scream and Condemned 2 was a winner

@ FunkMcnasty I know right. When thought you got away he appeared again and you having to blow yourself out the window. I nearly dropped the controller it was so scary

The best launch title and still in my top 10 favourite ever games, the 2nd one was good, as people have said, the rabid bear sequence at Black Lake Lodge was an inspired portion of great gaming, but the first game had atmosphere by the bucket load that I don't think the 2nd game quite delivered.

Remember Apple Seed Orchard, inching your way through that farmhouse with your UV light following those blood trails? *shiver*.

I bought a console for second because it didn't come out to PC. I love this franchize, please monolith make 3rd Condemned!

Lol at call Condemned an FPS. There was hardly any shooting and which few firearms you'd pick up, there'd be like 3 to 5 rounds in them.

I remember when I first played this. And the game genuinely and truly had me on the edge of my seat. They had perfected the jump scare formula perfectly.

Monolith is notorious for weak sequels to their great games. FEAR 2, Condemned 2, Blood 2.

Now they're just stuck making licenced games, unfortunately. Tis' the WB way.

Absolutely brilliant game. It's one of them games that more exploration than combat and has the right amount of fear in it. The levels etc are just awesome it's back compat on xbox but the sequel isn't unfortunatly

My first 360 game and what a game it was! Loved the reliance on melee weapons and was creepy as hell.

Condemned was fantastic. The second was even better IMO. Really wish we’d get a new one or a remake.

GOD. We played at a friends house on a 85 inch tv when the 360 first came out. The level with the mannequins. NOPE.
