Battlefield Blog :Thank you for playing the Open Beta and making the final game better!
We are very excited to see so many gamers join our Battlefield 3 Open Beta. Here’s an update on the Open Beta from DICE General Manager Karl Magnus Troedsson.
I want to give you an overview of how the Open Beta is helping us shape a fantastic final game, what we are implementing based on your feedback, and how the Open Beta will help us deliver a robust gaming environment from day one.

Thank you for letting me test out such a fun and exciting BETA. The 25th can't come fast enough. I already put in over 24hrs & Enjoyed every bit.
Sorry DICE, too late, lost all interest in this game.
While the fact that he didn't mention graphics specifically concerns me a little, everything else makes perfectly good sense - it's a TRUE beta (not a glorified demo...) and they need actual information to make the game better.
I just hope that everything is months old - graphics included, because it's getting close to ship time, and delaying this game would kill all sales and momentum if it lapses after the holiday.
Wow. That's great. Looks like they want it to work on launch day, unlike some other major titles out. If all goes as planned, and it lives up to the hype, I will be very pleased.
great news!
