There’s an amazing amount of hypocrisy regarding the amount of sequels in gaming at the moment, particularly as pertains to FPSs. Yes, FPSs are everywhere and yes, most of them are sequels, but where the majority of journalists and critics often blame this on a lack of creativity on the part of the developers, or on an economic climate that makes developers risk averse, very few people seem to place responsibility on the gamers themselves. Very few (if any) have considered the simple question: Why do gamers need to play Battlefield 3 after playing Gears 3? Why does one FPS automatically lead to another?

Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

I currently play Gears 3 often, especially after the 60 FPS Boost. Gears of War is my favorite gaming franchise, and the Locusts are the coolest faction in history. Gears Judgment will always be a disgrace for not having the Locust in VS multiplayer.
GoW 3 and Judgement were the last installments before the series went woke and soulless. I'm level 50 in GoW 3 and LOVE it's multiplayer to death. It's just so crispy.

But Gears isn't a FPS.... I don't get it
I try to cycle through my games. I wasn't at all impressed with the BF3 beta. I might play it a little more but Gears 3 is new to me as I haven't had a 360 for that long. However I just picked up Dead Island... So I actually haven't played Gears in a couple days. :p And I am about to go pick up Dark Souls... Sorry Marcus!
