does this have 3D? GoW Origins in 3D is OMFG AWESOMESAUCE and blew me away! I hope this will have 3D too.

even if it doesn't, I hope they can patch it to have 3D later like what they did with PES 2012. c'mon Konami!

I don't think, though I'm not sure, that the game will have 3D support, just because of the fact that there is a 3D version of MGS3 coming to Nintendo's 3DS. No one would buy the 3D handheld version for nearly the same price if this collection had 3D support.

The collection will still be amazing though, with progressive scan and higher resolution on our HDTVs. And the artbook of Shinkawa sounds amazing, gotta get the Limited Edition now!

"the art of metal gear solid" by Ashley Wood was just released in hard cover, i bought it. Idk if this is the same thing just a different cover.

I love the art and will be picking this up.
It'll go good next to my MGS3 Subsistence Limited Edition for PS2 and the hard cover guild/artbook for MGS3 I picked up back then.
This series, god damn.

Also, scouting around, I don't see that anyone has it available for pre-order yet, amazon or otherwise.

Currently playing Snake Eater HD on CRT 16:9, via Scart RGB. Game looks great but not as clean as MGS2, but thats due to the setting. Can't wait for the remake + the next HD collection on PS5.

I have the Metal Gear Solid HD collection from a few years ago and I still have the PlayStation 2 versions of mgs2/3. Wish Konami would get their act together they have so many great ips that are just wasting away .

Knowing Konami they will probably release Metal Gear in some form of an anniversary collection pack like they did with Contra and Castlevania. Konami gave the middle finger to their die hard fans who have followed them from beginning to end. Konami turned their back on the gaming community I honestly don't care about Konami anymore I have my Konami games I like and I will stick with the older titles. Too bad Konami just doesn't sell off their gaming division to someone who will utilize that division. And Konami can stick their head back in the sand and focus on Pachinko machines.

I buy digital mostly unless I want a collector’s or special edition. I buy way too many games a year and I don’t want have ti deal with storage.

You can still download them if you bought them previously, they have just gone like physical did years ago and remove them from being bought new. The only difference is that you can still buy them second hand in the physical market.

Konami has intentionally murdered several of their biggest franchises. Silent Hill, Castelvania, and now MGS. I don’t think they really care about making big hits anymore.

It still amazes me how MGS4, the last great MGS games (MGSVs open world and lack of plot outside of tapes did nothing for me) is still locked on PS3 outside of streaming via now. Konami are sitting on a goldmine. I wish Sony could somehow acquire the rights
