id Software are not planning to make any new IPs in the immediate future after Rage, but are hoping they can turn their upcoming shooter into a franchise.

Pete Hines: “Truthfully, I still think Bethesda is just part of something that is not authentic and is not genuine. And that shouldn't be a surprise to you.”

“If I could tell you the game that I turned down twice, it would shock the world,” claims Tim Willits, chief creative officer of Saber Interactive.

Id Software is celebrating 35 years and teasing new offerings in press release.
translation : we're really crappy devs who've never made anything worthwhile in our history and just wanna milk this cow dry. MOO!
Not gonna pick up this POS game, BF3 all the way baby!
BF3...........too much hype dude.....boring.
iD>>>Dice.
Play it cool and get Rage on the scene first.
I'd really like it if most developers talked less. All the boasting and trash talking really makes me not want to support your game.
And this IS boasting. Sugarcoated, but boasting, nonetheless.
I hope they make a new Quake game after Rage, but if Rage is really good I wouldn't mind them expanding on Rage either
