Shouldnt it be "Call of Duty games are barbies for men"

I know there a many different games with Multi-player which are tacked on, like Uncharted 2, Dead Space 2, Bioshock 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood etc, and those games arent necessarily considered as MAINSTREAM as Call of Duty.

I'm pretty sure action figures are barbies for men.

Multiplayer, specifically?

It's a pretty shameful example, but Brink had massive amounts of customization for your character, for the singelplayer. Same for Saints Row. Had nothing to do with multiplayer, and everything to do with making your character look how you wanted.

Yeah, on the surface, that's the same as dressing up a Barbie. But I would say it's more like customizing your car: it's tied more into your identity than anything else. Your online avatar or multiplayer character, when customizable to that level, is a representation of yourself. From my understanding, girls treat their dolls like someone else entirely. Of course, I'm not a girl, so I may be wrong there.

Wow, actually thats a good anaology, ive never looked at it that way. Add Mass Effect 2 to that list for me, ill admit it, i went without the helmet & inferior armor because i liked the way it looked, man thats depressing!!!
