Quantic Dream boss blames US marketing execs for perceiving their audience as 'gun-loving red-necks'

Star Wars Eclipse will be an 'action-adventure' game and yet how Quantic Dream approaches consequence-heavy QTEs need not be abandoned recklessly.

Adam Williams has left Quantic Dream behind to form his own studio.
The departure of the lead writer likely means the story is done. The trailer for this game is amazing. Hope it comes out soon.

Quantic Dream are set to offering hands-on opportunities at PAX East 2024, but which game it will be has not yet been revealed.

America has its share of idiots just like the rest of the world. 'gun-loving red-necks' We have these too but thankfully they reside in areas I'll never live. Those sort of people don't wander into NYC. I'm fairly certain most countries have groups they dislike. I know UK people who rave about their hatred for chavs. I'm just glad we aren't like other countries that ban games altogether.
I imagine pretty much like anywhere else, the majority prefer their games with guns in them. Of course, probably America, just a little more than most.
I live in America and I bought Heavy Rain, day one, brand new, and I still have it.
My work here is done, David Cage.
Goodbye.
1) Indigo Prophecy had a great 1st half of the game, but the ending was a bunch of jumbled garbage. That is why the game never had legs for a longer sales cycle, not because the name was changed or it wasn't marketed correctly. The whole 2nd half was bad.
2) Heavy Rain was really interesting, but I found too much of the game play to be dull. I liked the story, but I didn't like having to play through things like making dinner and putting my son to sleep (and there wasn't even a dinner cooking minigame or QTE). If Heavy Rain were done as a series like a Twin Peaks thing, I'd have loved it.
3) David Cage, quit complaining, it makes you sound whiny. First its used game sales that hurt, then its not having proper marketing behind a game, then its name changes... perhaps the problem isnt everyone else, maybe its YOU.
PS- if you really want a slice of the used game market, do it yourself. Just like a car company.
