The game is too archaic. But is you like Zelda I wouldn't knock you, that's your own preference. I've never had a nostalgia factor with this game maybe it's just different for me.

They are just saying Nintendo games feel like copypasta, pretty typical complaint.

I don't mind watching g4tv. You gotta take everything they say with a grain of salt tho. I mean, I like reading Jim Sterling and watching HHG. Pachter too. So I guess I'm just crazy.

If nothing else, when they says ridiculous stuff you can laugh at them.

everybody is going to say i'm a fanboy for this, especially because i have a uncharted 3 avatar, but... they're completely right.

The person that posted this obviously has more knowledge of Skyward Sword than Adam and Morgan (surprised anyone?).

Personally, i don't watch G4 anymore. Infact the only thing that i can remember about Morgan Webb, besides being hot, is that she hates Nintendo.

It blows my mind that they could claim that the gameplay hasn't changed since Ocarina of Time. Funny, i don't seem to remember Motion Plus, an Upgrade system, 100 Plus Hours, Second Quest, and Boss Battle Mode in Ocarina of Time. I mean, Game Informer only did a massive article on Skyward Sword (Zelda 25th Anniversary) THIS MONTH.

i just hate motion controls, just give me a controller or, even better, a keyboard and a mouse but id be satisfied with a normal controller

its like comparing the cheapest, filthy prostitute, clad in rags... to royalty, a princess. And lets be clear, Uncharted is the prostitute.

lets examine uncharted...

-shoot and run gameplay.

-witty (ie corny as hell) dialogue.

-copies ideas from every single 3rd person game that came before it, most notably tomb raider.

-copies indiana jones and several other hollywood films.

-doesn't push any boundaries

-doesn't do anything remotely new

-a glossy coating over what is really just an average game

-a great deal of hype created by sony and sony backed journalists to dupe the world into thinking this game is anything special.

Now... Lets examine zelda

-always at the forefront of originality

-always introduces new game industry changing gameplay mechanics

-revolutionised the third person view in ocarina of time

-dares to do something truly unique in each instalment

-no two zelda games are alike

-zelda games create unique worlds

-memorable stories and characters

-doesn't rely on flashy graphics, just simply amazing to play

-nintendo dont need a hype machine to convince people the games are good. the games speak for themselves

So there you have it,zelda is gaming royalty due to all of these things, and anyone who doesn't acknowledge this is:

-just a troll

-bitter

-a fanboy

-being payed to say those things

G4 is a joke. The review Morgan Webb did for Metroid other M was just ridiculous, everything she complained about has been in a Metroid game previously. And then she claimed to be a huge Metroid fan. I stopped watching G4 so long ago, but it's sad to see even Sessler pulling this crap now. He was the only one giving unbiased reviews for a while there. For them to honestly believe this makes me really wonder where they get their information from, because unless they are just pulling it out of their asses after watching the first trailer of the game I have no idea what could make them think this way. The only reason I used to watch G4 was because it was hilarious seeing Olivia Munn do dumbass stuff like deepthroating a corndog or dressing up in a maid outfit just for ratings. What an idiot.

In my opinion Zelda is the best gaming franchise out there but I'm a little worried about Skyward Sword... They keep adding the things I liked the least with past Zelda games. Like save points around the world instead of in the pause menu, no Hyrule to explore only the sky, the cell shaded graphic style and so on. It will be great no doubt but how great is the question.

Who cares what they think. G4tv is a dying, unpopular channel for a reason.
