3 Rocksmith features for non-guitar players (Bitmob)

Ubisoft wants to pump some fresh life into the ailing music rhythm genre with Rocksmith -- but it also wants to include gamers who never handled a guitar. Here's how.

I have too many gaming peripherals already.

Yeah, same here. The last time I played Rock Band I did it while standing on a Tony Hawk: Ride skateboard, just for the Hell of it.
And it was badass.

But Rocksmith? ehhhhh...I'm not sure about it.

Sounds cool, but man, I can't believe people are still pumping out guitar games. Aren't we over this fad yet?

This one lets you play your own guitar and learn to play the songs as you play the game. The only peripheral is the cable that lets you jack any electric guitar in to the console.

Guitarcade sounds pretty cool.
