"Rocksmith is the game that Rock Band 3's Pro Guitar mode wanted to be. As an expert of all things plastic guitar, I was ready to take that one step on the road of learning the real thing, but the bona fide Pro guitar didn't launch until March of this year and the game itself didn't teach players how to tune and care for the instrument. Rocksmith's entire concept, however, is to respect the guitar, not solely as a peripheral, and to guide players with the proper techniques and teaching methods. This is a "serious game" for the masses if there ever was one."

Want to learn how to play acoustic, electric, or bass guitar?
At first I didn't care at all but I've heard lots of great things about Rocksmith.
Wow it really does look like you're actually playing a song legit!
I'll take this game into account, as a guitar player this looks very promising and interesting.
I've never played an electric before, so I may spring for that $200 bundle, depending on how deep the music library for the actual game is. Anything that helps me become a better player, and in a fun way, is definitely on my watch-list.
hmmm,.. my guitar has been collecting dust for a while. Maybe I should go play
