When it was first announced alongside Monster Hunter 3G, a lot of Nintendo fans freaked out, me included. Here was another accessory that 3DS early adopters would have to get for their 3DS to make it what it should have been at launch. And besides, the thing looked gigantic and hideous, uncomfortable, and it seemed to warn that Nintendo would release a revised 3DS even sooner than expected.
However, as more news came out about it, I started to see the Slider Pad not as a failure, but as something that will bring nothing but good to the system. Here are five reasons why:"

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
It won't be great....they should of had a second analog stick to begin with. Instead they're charging current 3DS owners extra for it.
People are missing the point here
yes the best about it is the people who have delt with it and got over it are nintendo 3ds owners its people that dont even own one and have no intention of owning one come in and complain just for the sake of it, have you got a 3ds by the way?. £15 is an easy fix for now
ok dont get over it hire yourself a violin player get a razorblade and get them cut, you sound like a kid who saved all his pocket money and feels like he lost all his lifes savings after the price cuts hahahah , im no fanboy either.
EDIT yea get them cut cause the way you are going on you sound like you have schizoaffective disorder seriously , and you have issues your going on about Activision Capcom now hahaha , goto bed kid , and im not rich i just dont cry over spilt milk
OK, I've got no problem with it, but I've always been ok with using the touch screen as a second analog stick like we did on the DS with games like Metroid, all the Call of Duty games and Dementium.
I'm not sure whether I'm getting this..... For starters, I'll have to un-install my Nyko extended battery on my 3DS, which gives me an extra 3 hours battery life on my 3DS.
The touch screen works great already, I liken it to a mouse with it's accuracy in aiming....and from what I've read, Monster Hunters touch screen will have a section on it devoted to touch screen right analog control for camera control.
Anyone else have the Nyko battery that is concerned like I am?
Nintendo lost the competition before the vita hit the markets !!
