But this game really doesnt look to apealing if it wasnt for the name sake i prob wouldnt have finshed this video.so disappointing. major letdown of crapcom in years... =/

But didn't you hear? His hair turns white for a second during combat which totally makes up for the complete change to his character design and personality and the whole not-being-Dante thing. /s

Sigh... now i realize just how superficial some fans are... they're satisfy when an icon get butchered as long as he still has white hair (for a few secs during transformation- god knows what, that can be DT or even Angel Trigger -__-). SMH.

You don't even know what "devil" trigger is do you.
Turning your hair white is not devil trigger.
The point of devil trigger is to access his devil powers and transforming him into a devil.

Blame that on westernization, outsourcing and just plain bad decision making from the devs. I really wish we could go back to the heyday where japanese devs dominated the industry with new and inventive idea but they're just lagging behind with trying to appeal to a broader market.

I played these games on PC,xbox,Gamecube

1.FF 7,8 (PC)
2.Resident Evil 1,2 (PC),Codevero & 4(GameCube)
3.DMC3 (Dante Awaken) on PC and PS2
4.Silent Hill 2 (original xbox)

Use a better browser! Firefox + adblock does wonders. Though I think you can install adblock for Chrome too.

I love the games too but I love the characters and the story.

All in all i love what DMC is, so why change it?

if this was some other game unrelated to DMC I wouldnt mind it. But it is going to be what DMC becomes from now on and wth is that all about?

THIS DMC is non cannon. NT and Capcom have said so. So it looks to be a spin off (but a prequel?) of sorts.

Personally I think the gameplay looks solid enough. The way he fights definitely remindes me of nero. Hopefully they leave his classic moves like stinger intact because all I've seen so far is him using that demon hook ability (which is devil bringer esque)

All in all I think it looks like it will play fine. I don't see any chopiness as some call it. I don't like that music though. I hope its not like his theme song.

Idk how people can get excited over these sub-par gameplay trailers. Do people want to ignore all of the flaws just to prove a point to the fans who are against this?

No Sir I don't like it! Very repetitive gameplay, if I'm not mistaken the part in the trailer where he is swinging from one point to another I think God of War did this already or it was Darksiders. It looks very boring. Weapons are similar to Darksiders. Still not excited and Ninja Theory convince me. Doubt it will happen destroyed a franchise I loved. Boycott!

what pisses me off the most is all this complains coming from this people. I blame you guys that this game turned out the way it is now. I blame all those Call of Duty idiots who only buy FPS games. Were all of you people hiding in a cave playing Halo? You guys are a bunch of hypocrites. You guys say you've all played DMC1-4, but that's all you do. You don't even tell other people about how good the franchise is.

People already gave their reasons in previous articles that came out months ago.

Now since more info is being released on this game they focus on that rather than going into detail on the past games.

if you came late to the party then you missed out on what you are looking for.

Btw the DMC franchise, or well DMC1 and 3 are the best hack and slash game out there, if you are interested play them if you can. Is that what you wanted to hear (read) or something more in dept?

Lets just say Dante is going through that weird teenage phase where mostly every teenager appearance through that certain phase looks and dresses like an ass assuming Dante is younger in this game so there's an excuse right there lol.
