It's a great controller, the only downsides are the cheap rubber for the thumbsticks and the cord. It also takes time to get used too, but its worth it.

My TE controller analog stick messed. Not because I torqued them too far either. I think all the holding forward and clicking the stick in to sprint screwed it up. Now it won't allow me to go forward.
Picked up a Gears 3 controller the day after it failed.
I picked up the TE and I love it but the left analog stick broke, if you were moving forward it kept on 'losing signal' and making the character come to a sudden halt and then carry on moving again, so I got a replacement and the right analog stick kept on twitching randomly :(
It's a great controller... when it works.
I haven't had the above problems, but Razer has good customer service. Sorry to hear your controllers were faulty
