The way i see it,it sounds bad but it depends on your console setup and seating position.But i consider disc changing really big deal in the winter season.

Interesting that campaign is on disc 2 not that it makes any difference if it's labeled disc 1 or 2. But that does appear campaign is less "important" to be labeled as disc 2 because it's play "once" and forget.

FPS are ALL about multiplayer. That's all anyone I know cares about anyway.

So the way I see it, PS3 version gets stuff added to its one disc, while 360 version is split up on multiple discs? What is this, 1998? Gran Turismo 2 is the only game I've owned where the game was literally split on two discs, and I never touched the Arcade one. Looks like I'll be getting the far superior PS3 version of this game.

2 discs is not a big deal, but it shows how outdated the 360 is.

The 360 version since it will be superior graphically and online also faster load times since you can do full installations. The only place that has the most online gamers with headsets and for the best experience on console 360 controller wins hands down.

DVD in 360 is 12speed.

When using dual layer DVD, the speed of the drive is actually more or less the same as the PS3 x2 BLU-RAY in some places.

Blu-ray has a lower seek time as well.

This is fine by me and ide rather developers do this on more games for the 360 as it means they can have bigger sp and mp games. Cant wait for this gae this year has such a good back end for gamers across all consoles

I love my PS3 and I have a very good amount of pre-orders lined up for it, but I have been playing on the 360 a little more because all my friends want nothing to do with the PS3 at all.

So, I'm getting Modern Warfare 3 for 360 and getting Battlefield 3 for PS3 since they don't care about BF3 anyway. It's nice to have choices.

I'll be getting the PC version, but if I did not have that option, i would get the ps3 version, not because of the discs, but because of the extra content, and if i only had an xbox, i'd still get this game because who really cares about how many discs there are!

If it came on 10 discs and took 4 hours to install i would still get this game. It is going to be that epic.

Side note, hate on me all you want but i am getting MW3 as well, on pc of course!

If you have the option, the pc version of BF3 is by far the best version, beyond even the insanely better graphics is the 32 vs 32 players maps, instead of the consoles with a mere 12 vs 12!!! Really they are going to be two different games;

@Ju your corrected both processors on PS3 can work together on different lighting techniques in games.Uncharted 3 uses both processors for lighting & god of war 3 Also used both processors for lighting as well & god of war 3 is only using 50% of the total processing power of PS3 so sony was right developers haven't completely tapped out the PS3's processing power.

if no one knows this is how most 360 games will release for the rest of the gen, then they need to wake up.

BF3? They need to go back to BF2 for the mainline. Heck, I'd settle for true-to-source remakes of BF2 and BC2 (w/ Vietnam). Everything they've done in the 'modern' era is just bad.

I've not played 2042 myself but after v I don't feel like it. I played a few hours of v with friends but it feels ultra sterile I can't figure it out but the game looks and feels clinical. The storys in the campaign were also bland and uninteresting and felt like a dull trudge through checkpoints as you waited for an ending.

I've played the franchise dating back to it's original PC launch and PS2 spin off games I did enjoy 1 overall and it's take on placing you in different scenarios and battles was interesting but not all that good imo as you couldn't really connect with any characters longer than 2 hours.

hardline for all the hate it recived was a fun story and a new take but a bad mp game

I feel like v overall was the turning point and instead of showing the gritty reality of war they turned everything sterile and presented it in a clean cut boring frame in order to pump it full of weird micro transactions overall they spent far to much time on trying to implant ray tracing and other graphical flourishes and forgot to make the game enjoyable

I mean thats all we've wanted since BF4 but they keep doing everything we don't want.
