Crazy Machines: Elements Review - Critical Hit!

Critical Hit! says: "Anyone remember The Incredible Machine? As a kid I used to adore the series. In it you are given Rube Goldberg-esque puzzles in which you have to figure out which pieces go where in order to complete the machine. Back then the puzzles were too hard for me so I spent most of my time in the edit mode, creating my own machines from scratch. The game was like a virtual sandbox; you were given a plethora of tools, toys and objects, each with their own physics such as weight, mass and bounciness, as well as their own unique uses (a laser, for instance, can be used to pop a balloon or light the wick on a candle). Imagine my surprise years later, when I find out that Crazy Machines, the spiritual sequel of sorts, was coming to XBLA. Does it live up to my childhood memories? Is it merely a shadow of its former self underneath the fancy Havok physics and dynamic lighting effects?"

The greatest deal on PSN is Persona 3 FES for only $10. And it's not even on sale. It's ALWAYS $10.

It's a 180 hour JRPG ps2 classic that innovated greatly in the genre, for only $10 that has stolen my entire summer last year. Hands down a steal at that price.

Persona 3 FES is amazing, bought it day 1 when it went up on the store. $10 isn't a deal, it's a steal for game like that! I even bought my Vita solely for Persona 4 Golden

Vagary.tv: Crazy Machines Elements Review

Don Parsons writes: "Crafting a chain of events to cause one simple event to happen is a satisfying experience. Making a laser bounce off a mirror that is angled just right, cut a rope, which in turn drops a weight on a springboard that then catapults a bowling ball through a basketball hoop may seem a little over-thought-out, but it will put a smile on your face nonetheless.

This is how Crazy Machines Elements feels."
