
Sonic The Hedgehog, released in 2006 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, marked the 15th anniversary of the beloved Sonic franchise. Unfortunately, the game - which fans had hoped would be a return to the glory days of old - wasn't very good.

I think this is how Japanese devs need to think. Catering to the west is a terrible idea. I personally, seek out Japanese developed games because they bring a unique experience to gaming. They just stand out more that way.
The sonic music is iconic the mega drive games were some of the best on the system but i wouldn't say they were free of western influence especially since 3 was composed in part by Michael Jackson

Uhhh that's a strange thing for him to say. Even in the interview he admits to listening to a lot of western music.

It was a chance for Sega to make an come back on the sonic series but the game fail(b4 colors).
-game should had a stronger plot
-romance/whatever that was, wasn't really need
-loading time was horrible
-finding items over buying them
-others but to lazy to type.
Colors is what SonicNG should of been/ or would at least been a good start.
That was a hilarious over-anaylsis of Sonic 06. Reminds me of my Lit 1 class.
