What I'm curios about is why does the picture show the PS3? I mean some of these games are on the Xbox.

That's the only reason I own consoles. I've got a machine more powerful that could play the games better, but some games are only released on my consoles. Shame really as they would potentially be far better on pc.

I just recently played the witcher 2 and deus ex on pc with a 360 controller. I tried them with a keyboard and mouse, but prefer them with the 360 controller. I am also enjoying space marine on pc with the controller aswel.

I disagree about all Valve games being better on the PC. Portal 2 was just as good on PS3 as PC.

Of course the RTS genre is better on PC, due to more RAM, and a superior control scheme (mouse/keyboard). I'm just not fast enough with a gamepad, and I'm not interested enough to buy bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the PS3.

It is to be expected the consoles are 5 and 6 years old now!

Even ps3 and 360 exclusives look 5 years old now, resistance 3 looks the same as killzone 2, granted, it looks good, but it does not look any BETTER, ps3 peaked with killzone 2/uncharted 2. and even those games were nowhere near crysis 1 from 2007

every pc game that is AAA or close destroys every console game when talking about graphics, everyone with a brain can see that, but I still use my consoles for great console exclusives like resistance 3, gears 3 and dark souls

but only a fool would think games like BF3. skyrim, rage are even in the same gen on console and pc, pc is a whole entire generation beyond consoles now, the differnece between pc and xbox360/ps3 is the same as the difference between ps3 and ps2, if you don't think so, you have not been playing pc games, your just a console hater!

There shouldn't be PC only or Console only games! First and foremost we are all Gamers and should have the choice to play what we want on what platform. If the game is supported by one or the other than you will have a difference. Let's just have fun and play on!

If i want to play on a PC ill play it but i prefer console i dont care if it looks better as long i just want to play on my favorite system.

For me personally, I hate the PC. Ain't nothing more gay than sitting in front of a 15" monitor with a keyboard and a mouse. Ain't nobody can sit next to you and watch, or even chop it up with. No thanxz, I'll stick to a 51" plasma playin on the consoles, and so OTHER people can play too. I guess pc is for people that ain't got no friends

Been a while since I've bought anything for my 360. The last few titles I've bought were exclusives to the consoles, everything else I'm getting on the PC. It's cheaper, it looks better, it controls better (most of the time, retarded ports ruin everything), runs better, it loads faster, the multiplayer is usually more competetive in fps games.

Did anyone notice that some these games originally started on pc. Diablo, Doom, and Far cry. It says console games that should be on played on pc. Yea I would took those out.

This list is just sort of weak. Your primary reason for Mass Effect and Dragon Age being better on the PC is the inventory? Really? If you're going to make a list like this it should really focus on games where the experience was largely different between the two versions. Tiny differences that only the biggest fanboys would complain about just don't make good points.

Diablo and related choices made more sense because they were games designed specifically for the PC that failed epically on consoles that were completely unprepared for them. That said, most of those examples were very old and largely irrelevant to any point you were trying to make about modern gaming.

RTS titles? That's just a given, so yes. There's also a strong point to be made for games with large mod communities if you're the sort of person who likes delving into those.

Woah, Seems like console gamers are attacking pc gamers in this article. calm down. You have your exclusives, we have ours. You have your controllers, We have those and KB/M. You have your preffered platform, we have ours. You have your couch and TV, we have that or a higher resolution monitor. I hope that stops all the trolling. Every game thats coming to both PC and Consoles

I just purchased a new gaming PC to play the Witcher 2. It seems they still can't get it right. I just love it when you forget to save your game and the dam thing locks up. That's why I gave up on PC games 10 years ago. I don't have that problem with consoles, and until PC games get better I will stick with consoles!

I am a Pc gamer, and believe games are best experienced on a pc. If they allowed cross-online play between PC and XBL, I'd have little reason to play console games. When you take online play out of the mix, PC games are just superior in every aspect. Skyrim for example, will be best on PC. Mouse and Keyboard take some getting used to (especially if your a console gamer) but once you do, it beats the controller hands down.

Worst thing to happen to gaming this year is PC fanboys emerging from their basements and trying to fit in with the console crowd with their misplaced elitism.

Mass Effect, bethesda games, Deus Ex HR,Portal 2 are all great on console? Far Crys also not bad. I pretty much disagree with about half the list as many of the games you picked are actually great on console.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
