
Minecraft. If you haven’t played it you’ve heard of it. If you haven’t heard of it, here’s the low down. Minecraft has become one the fastest growing indie games in history, grossing over 20 million pounds during its alpha and beta stages.
It has sold over 1.8 million copies and is currently under development to be released for the Xbox 360, with full Kinect capabilities. The main question that comes to mind to many people is why has such a simple looking game become such a huge success?

This is very true, my nephews grew up on these two games and whenever I introduce them a AAA game whether old or new, it's like seeing an alien try to make sense of it and then quickly lose interest in it.

Gaming trends are so weird to me now. Like, I’m old school and games were consumed essentially how movies were. You play through a title and look forward to the sequel or other things that came out. Now, that is so not the norm.
