
The Internet was rocked and/or bemused worldwide last night by the Nintendo 3DS's new circle-pad attachment, formally announced after a lengthy spate of rumors in this week's issue of Famitsu magazine. Within Japan proper, though, news of the attachment was almost overshadowed by what the thing's actually meant for -- Monster Hunter 3G (or "Tri-G," if you prefer), a 3DS-exclusive enhanced port of last year's Wii release Monster Hunter Tri. Due out before the end of the year in Japan, 3G will be fully playable at the Tokyo Game Show in a couple weeks, and director Kaname Fujioka sat down with Famitsu to answer a few questions.
