Insider Gaming - "Ubisoft has cancelled yet another game, this time ending development on the Animal Crossing-inspired title Alterra."

HALIFAX (April 14, 2026) – Laid-off Ubisoft workers in Halifax have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a settlement with the video-game giant. The terms of the settlement, including the compensation employees will receive, is confidential.
I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.
Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.
But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.

Two-day event includes exclusive reveals, trailers and playable games on show floor.
Slowly downloading as we speak (god I hate BT), can't wait to try this out
I'm a little disappointed by the character designs for multiplayer this time around... Not as good as in Brotherhood.
I hope this lives up to the multiplayer in Brotherhood.
THis looks crap, a fest of walking up to people and mashing X to kill them, so boring, come on atleast have a melee system were you can block, light attack (can be stopped by block), Heavy Attack (goes through block but can be countered by light attack) and counter attack (awarded after a sucessful block) would make the combat much more interesting if you countered an assassination attempt and then you could choose to fight your attacker or flee.
Sorry just my opinion, I dont like 1 button win games, should really focus on the single player, I cant see this being any good.
I want to watch this really bad, but since I still haven't finished Brotherhood I'm trying to stay away from all AC:R related video.
