Many PC gamers have seen what many call ”A Decline in PC gaming”, with Razer the peripherals comapny even basing their marketing campaign for the launch of their new gaming laptop (Blade) around the idea that PC gaming is not dead. Even though Razer believe their $2800 will save PC gaming, the actual fact of the matter is that it doesn’t need saving.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
PC Gaming has been surging since 2004.
the only reason PC Gaming seemed to have slowed down was due to DX10 being utter Shite along with that crap Vista......thanks a lot Microsoft.
Many Gamers just would not let WinXp and DX9 go and i don't blame them cause the alternative was crap. (sure some ppl liked Vistas while others just used the WinXp DX10 hack)
But now that the Digital transition is complete along with DX11 and Windows 7 Devs are happily moving forward.
P.S. That Razer Blade laptop is way over priced! I love the second little screen but there are way more powerful gaming laptops out there for a $1000 cheaper.

im am greatful that n4g.com is reporting for once, a positive article articulating how pc gaming is surging. starcraft 2 is a great example, there are so many youtube channels dedicated to this game its insane now. windows vista was crap now that i look back, and dx10 didnt have alot of games compared to dx11.
I believe other devs will follow BF3 and show off what they can do then port to the console.
It's a pretty unique platform, not without its headaches, but it has come a long way in the past 3-5 years. I'd say it's surging because it's becoming highly accessible for just about anyone, even more so when Valve releases "Big Picture Mode" for living room gaming. Like it or not, PC is here to stay.
