L.A. Noire PC will be "AMD approved"

DSOGaming writes: "We know that a lot of PC gamers - and owners of AMD's graphics cards - were a little disappointed with most triple-A titles as they were optimized for green team's cards. Well, apparently this won't be the case with the highly anticipated PC version of L.A: Noire as AMD has already included and improved the game's Crossfire performance."

Also bring Red Dead Redemption.

john25374d ago

Really doubt this will ever happen. It's been over a year since RDR's release on consoles and there hasn't been any word yet about a possible PC version.

Marcello5374d ago

I hear yer there m8, i have no plans to buy LA Noire until we get RDR on PC

Marcello5373d ago

LOL@you who disagree, just wish you had the balls to say why you disagree. Your just gonna disagree with my right to chose wat i buy ??

smt305374d ago

i have a poster in my room of rdr and every time i look at it i wish it was on PC so i could fire it up instantly and just explore the west :(

dirthurts5374d ago

I really didn't care for RDR that much...
Too much horse riding...

Hellsvacancy5374d ago

And better graphics STILL wont make this game any better, it was one of my most wanted games this gen but turned out to be one of the MOST borin games ive played this gen

My spidey senses let me down on this one

JsonHenry5374d ago

I haven't played it myself. However a LOT of people I know said the same thing about this game.

I'll check it out on next years Steam summer sale and see how I like it I guess.

fluffydelusions5374d ago

Agreed. It's fun at first but it gets VERY repetitive. Just wait for a steam sale.

wallis5374d ago

Great. So for me, an nvidia user, that basically throws decent performance out the window.

GO CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP. Whoop whoop! What a victory for capitalism when you only properly support half your consumer base.

john25374d ago

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was also an "AMD approved" title but I doubt you didn't enjoy it ;). Nvidia does a great job generally but most of the times, AMD is the one lacking those pre-launch optimizations

wallis5374d ago

Actually I'm half/half on deus ex (you can play any way you want providing it's stealth) and also it runs like shit, stutters like shit and has horrific mouse lag so if anything you've proven my point.

MacT5374d ago

Well, that's good to know.

Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.

It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

porkChop686d ago

Brendan McNamara is a brilliant writer and director but he should never, ever be in charge of a studio. What he did to those devs was far beyond "crunch", and it went on for, what, 7 years? That's insane.

But I'm glad to see some of that team have come together again to create something new. A psychological thriller sounds right up my alley.

anast686d ago

I would have liked to see a new noir game.
