After all that has gone on with Team Bondi over the past few months, we thought it was time to have a look back at the game that brought them to the worlds attention. Vin takes a walk down memory land.

Are we still in love with the game like we were when it was released?

rabidpancakeburglar5354d ago

No, it was a good game with a pretty good story but it had very little replayability and I decided to trade it in on Saturday, got a decent price for it though.

Kurisu5354d ago

Nope, I'm not. Like rapidpancake said, there is little to know replayability. I don't even have any motivation to try the DLC for it, either. To be honest I think the game is pretty forgettable.

im on the 13th mission, and i cant find the will to finish it.. this game at first was an amazing experience, but there is so much you can do looking for clues and interrogating. Making LA NOIR was also somewhat of a mistake, there really isnt much to do...

Now I think that L.A NOIR better suits as a complement to an open world game, such as a GTA game.

all in all, it started of great, new experience, but it quickly dried up.Its not a bad game, i gave it a 9 when i first had it, but I probably give it a 8 now.

I really want a sequel to this game I thought it was great I enjoyed playing it. If they do a sequel I hope the bring Cole phelps back where he washes up on a dock and is kidnapped and after rescuing him he busts his partner from Vice I hate that guy

caseh5354d ago (Edited 5354d ago )

Its only been out for just over 3 months, I would hardly call that a trip down memory lane.

7bitarcade5354d ago

It's a memory lane in a way as the game fell from such a heavy height due to it's repetition. It suffered from the same problems that the original Assassins Creed did. A great concept, but not taken far enough.

Hopefully McNamara is as far away from this as possible he set up shop in Australia then did nothing but complain about Australian labour laws while trying to make his workers live at the office working 24/7 on la noire punishing them for leaving at 3 am and being 10 minutes late to work at 9am the next day.

It's astonishing that none of the workers went to the fair work ombudsman as the studio would have been fined astronomical numbers

porkChop666d ago

Brendan McNamara is a brilliant writer and director but he should never, ever be in charge of a studio. What he did to those devs was far beyond "crunch", and it went on for, what, 7 years? That's insane.

But I'm glad to see some of that team have come together again to create something new. A psychological thriller sounds right up my alley.

I would have liked to see a new noir game.
