So what’s the real story behind the recently announced delay of Twisted Metal? It’s actually got nothing do with adding additional features or modes. It’s all about polish and playtesting – key components in a game that’ll live or die based on how perfectly tuned it is.

Twisted Metal is getting an interesting promotion at San Diego Comic-Con.

Cyberpunk 2077, Abiotic Factor, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and more
Twisted Metal 3 and 4 join PlayStation Plus Premium.
Wow cyberpunk is a great pick up. If you haven’t played it you should definitely give it a try
Despite owning the 2077 One X console and the steelbook edition of the game... i still have never played it. I may actually give 2077 a try (via the portal) as there has been so much talk about it again, thanks to SW2 and now this comparison vid from DF. https://youtu.be/SvGQik3m6a...
Cyberpunk and Risk of rain 2 are the best of the bunch. Not a bad month if you are one of the few that haven't played those games.
Cyberpunk is probably one of the best games I've ever played, even when it came out with all the bugs and glitches and broken gameplay on consoles, I still loved it at its core because the world was exactly what I wanted in a dystopian vision of the real future and the story was actually well done and compelling. With the fixes and then Phantom Liberty I just knew that this game could've been GOTY winner if it hadn't been released too early and released on PS5. XBX and two years later.
Might give cyberpunk a chance now that the game redeemed itself . Is it only the basic game or with the newer content ?

Will PlayStation bring back some classic Twisted Metal games?
TM3 is my favorite but I'll take what they bring out gladly. Fun times back in the day and great soundtracks
Lego 2K Drive features an exciting mode called Brick Brawl, inspired by Twisted Metal. Players can create, share, and upload various cars, including ones like Sweet Tooth. The game boasts thousands of custom cars, ranging from the Batmobile to the Sweet Tooth ice cream truck.
Never understood the like for the series. Not my bag but I know a lot of gamers are clamoring for a new game and liked the TV. Series
Twisted Metal: Black is when the series really hit for me. I still love that game so much. It was kind of downhill for the series after that IMO. I'd love to see the series go back to its roots, but I don't hold out a lot of hope for David Jaffe coming back from where he is these days to oversee development of a competent sequel.
"It’s all about polish and playtesting"
Would rather have a game delayed and made sure it plays good, than a rushed game that needs tons of patches to fix.
i really hope they hav a beta! cuz not only will it make the game better, its gonna give us a big taste of wats in the game. cod4 by far is the best cod EVER! also a big reason why its the best cod is cuz id had a beta!
I love Jaffe nobody is more point blank than this guy sometimes he's a dick yeah but so are the rest of us. He rocks I love his honesty. I Hope the game is successful I know he's got one sale right here.
Although Jaffe sounds like a dick most of the time, he is also one of THE most brilliant and honest guys in the gaming industry today and when something is not right, he wont have a problem shitting on it compared to other devs who are afraid to speak up. I have great respect for a man like him who looks out for the industry and the passion we all share and love :3
PS: Twisted Metal is a day one buy since the polish from the alpha and beta builds that have been shown so far look insane so I cant imagine how great the game will play when it releases. Plus its a sweet departure from the fps madness :3
