This game looks horrible. Find any picture of a zombie or other monster and wave your hands at it, because that's the experience you will have with this game.

Wow you have a time machine and played the game already? Thanks for the info from the future on what you experienced with this game. You are one cool guy!

I've heard the controls on this game are really good which is a big plus considering it's a Kinect game. Hell, maybe the star wars game will also get an upgrade now that it's been delayed. I'm still holding out on Kinect but maybe by next year I'll buy one. I'm also waiting to see if MS cuts the price any time soon, $150 is a bit steep especially when I'm saving up for a Vita.

watch this video and you tell me if the controls are really good...
my opinion: its very unresponsive

caseh5380d ago

Theres a review of it somewhere on n4g, i think it got 4/10. When Fruit Ninja outscores a Kinect game from a big development studio you know something must be up with that game. :D

TheMyst5380d ago (Edited 5380d ago )

Hmm... I can see Kinect's worse enemy, lag. Honestly, from that video I'd agree with you but I haven't played the game myself so until I do I can't say either way. Could be good, could be terrible.

JellyJelly5380d ago

@caseh - There's also one that gave it 7/10 ( http://n4g.com/news/838095/... and one that gave it B+/A ( http://www.gaming-age.com/r...

I'm going to check it out but hopefully at TGS we get some type of new game footage for upcoming Kinect games. Can someone tell me does Kinect games count as 360 exclusives?

Ahhhh another Kinect game update and more hating on it...
N4G never changes lol

Yeah, I really don't understand. If they don't like it, why click on the link. Just ignore and move and let people who are genuinely interested have a good discussion.

The main thing I notice from video's of random people playing the Kinect is that they never stay within the range to accurately read your movements. Any controller, motion or otherwise isn't going to work properly if your out of range.

Why use random people who don't actually own nor use the device properly be the judge for all of us?

I've been looking forward to this Kinect title for a while now, cant wait to pick it up tomorrow. I'm sure Microsoft has a lot of more "core" titles like this for the future.

Looking back to 2011 and Kinect’s Rise of Nightmares

Jack writes: "First released in September 2011, SEGA’s Rise of Nightmares was made especially for Kinect on Xbox 360. Among the range of games available for the peripheral, it is the least likely title ever made for the Kinect - there’s no dancing, no pets, no sports. (Though by its end, hacking through hordes of re-animated corpses here starts to feel like a sport.)"

rise of nightmares would make a good VR game. Surprised Sega didnt try and remaster it for PSVR. Or... maybe they are working on doing that for PSVR2????

Neonridr1723d ago

considering SEGA hasn't made a single title yet for PSVR, I can't imagine why they would pick this one to start TBH.

Not saying I wouldn't love it as I'm a huge horror fan.

5 Horror Games That Deserve Sequels

BD writes: Have you ever fell in love with a television show, spent more time than you would care to admit binging on each of its episodes, only to find out that it’s been cancelled, prematurely and without any real warning? I have, I’ve been burned numerous times, and it never gets any easier. This problem isn’t limited to our favorite TV shows, video games can cause that same abrupt stop, and it often hurts just as much.

As much as I’d like to see another entry in the Condemned, Dino Crisis, or The Suffering series, at the very least, those games got one or more sequels. I’ve decided to eschew horror games that have already seen a follow-up in favor for those that haven’t — the one-offs that deserve to be more than that.

I don't think Alan Wake needs a sequel it would probably just kill it. Alan Wake was good because of its originality, American Nightmare wasn't nearly as good.
