Which Platform Should You Plan On Playing These Multiplatform Games On?

GIR's Callum writes: With so many awesome multiplatfom games hitting shelves in the coming months it’s time to take a look at which system will be the best. While each game is capable of running on multiple systems, hence the multi, each game will benefit from being played on certain system in different ways.

Dead Island on PS3? Its around the web saying its worse on the PS3.

Rushing_Punch5380d ago

I watched a ton of the PS3 playthrough, looked ok to me. Xbox looked a little odd but I hadn't seen anything on PC. Maybe they are playing it on the PS3?

xPhearR3dx5380d ago

PS3 has tons of pop-ins and graphical glitches. They're present on the 360 version as well (The version I'm currently playing) but they're not nearly as bad.

ATi_Elite5380d ago

PlayStation 3- Batman: Arkham City.

I disagree cause the PC version will have 3D support, better frame rates, and Nvidia Physx!

I loved the molding of adding costumes for the pc version

LOGICWINS5380d ago

Hmm...they said that the 360 version of Saints Row 3 is the version to get, but doesn't the PS3 version have an exclusive multiplayer mode and free online play?

"Which Platform Should You Plan On Playing These Multiplatform Games On?" think I'll play on the system I enjoy the most. This shouldn't be rocket science people.

One reviewer said that and here you are blowing it out way out of proportion. Sheesh....please stop being foolish.

I also heard Dead Island plays better on 360 but that's the only one of that list that really stuck out as wrong to me. And when I say Dead Island plays better on 360 I base it off of other peoples opinions and those are only involving 360 and Playstation 3, not PC.

Playing it on the Platform I own.

^^This..

I mean I am getting it on PS3, like all my multiplat games, cause of the trophies. It's not like this game is complete ass on any one system. Same as all of those who got FFXIII on 360. get it for the system you want. This is 2011 anyway, some games look better on one system than another. It happens, just get the version you want. If online pricing, achievements/trophies, friends, controller, system itself, extras and exclusive content are what you must look at to make your choices just make already. 2011 has been chock full of awesome games and it's more important to support the games than get into petty console/PC wars over nothing. Unless it's MW3, I am 100% cool with you all giving Bobby Kotick the shaft on that game, and go with BF3.

I own all three. So will probably pick it up on PC.

All on PC because we dominate graphic wise. Disagree all you want but it is what it is and I am simply getting what I paid for.

SageHonor5380d ago

It is what it is? No shit lol

Brownghost5379d ago

Graphics aren't everyhting just saying

gamernova5378d ago

If it's the same game and one looks better than the other, that difference makes the one that looks better the superior version. Simple. I even have a 360 controller connected to my computer so I can have the same controls a 360 gamer has and game the same game but at better quality. For all the ps3 fans out there, if the ps3 controller was directly compatible with the PC, I would have gotten that instead :D

STK0265380d ago

Unless a game has more content on a console, should't you always buy it on PC (if you have a good PC of course), since it will run better at a higher resolution? Of course, that excludes Saints Row 3, considering how awful SR2 was on PC, and MW3, as most people will be on X360 and you want to have as many people as possible for such a multiplayer focused game.

Batman, Dead Island and AC:R should all be bought on PC, as there is no exclusive content for the X360 or the PS3 (as far as I know).

Basically, with the exception of MW3 and Dark soul (and maybe SR3 depending on the PC port's quality), all of these games should be played on PC for those with a decent PC.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio28d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing28d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9228d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit28d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing28d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9228d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
