The Game Effect | A Virus Named Tom Preview

Just about any person who has ever so much as set cursor upon a Flash gaming site knows of one of the most basic variations of the action-puzzler: the pipe game. Substance X is flowing from Y points, and one must twirl the pipes on the screen to safely complete their path. A Virus Named Tom takes that basic concept and mashes it all up with mechanics from numerous other games: scraping from Touhou titles, engineering enemy collisons a la Rally X, fog of war, wrap-around game fields, avoiding "bad" pipes, four-player co-op and a time limit on top of it all.
