I'm only Level 16 34% with 17 Plats,and I have be collecting trophies since 19 November 2008.

The problem with trying to get this many trophies is that you have to pick your games based on how easily and quickly you can get a lot of trophies, not how great the game is. People like this are playing video games only for the sense of accomplishment, not for enjoyment and fun. Not somewhere I want to go. Playing a game for its quality comes first, its trophies are a distant second. For me anyway.

Level 12 with 3 plats and had a ps3 a year, not really bothered about trophies tbh

I've 38 plats and I just stopped going for plats after that. I've about 20 or so games that only need 1 trophey that I just left cause I was sick of them. Trophies can add fun to many games but they can take it away from games too. Kudos to him for plating NGS2 but a lot of his games are disney games and many rpgs are at the 0% mark which says that hes one of those people that stays away from games that take 100s of hours to plat.

Alot of people are calling him a cheater, but at the end of the day, I know alot of people who use youtube to help them get trophies ie finding treasures in Uncharted for example. I for one can look at my trophy list which sits at level 13 knowing all of mine are legit, without use of hacks and youtube help. How many people can honestly say that?, which in a way makes trophies pointless when comparing with friends who have plats when they have used youtube to find hidden treasures etc. Just my opinion though, I play the SP experience in my 1st playthrough then replay a second time to get trophies, after that I`m generally done with collecting trophies or the game (not enough gaming time)

Still though their some what questions to this. He made of not used hacking to get the trophies but he had to used someone's else save or people play on his account on different ps3. 3 years your level 50 with that many trophies he had to have some kind of help with it, i don't think it was just him.

250 platinums?! There aint even 250 GAMES on ps3 and xbox combined, not only that trophies started around 2008 early 2009. 15000 sounds too high, you figure about 100 trophies on the high end per game times maybe 75-80 ballpark with trophy support(and that sounds high); that would be 80 plats. Remember cod 4 didn't have trophies & everything prior,...it just sounds outta whack.

I've never platinum'd a game. I get trophies on accident because I'm not trying for them, I'm just playing the game.

Also, I don't play crappy games just to get a stupid little icon that tells my friends I did something in the game. Trophies are stupid in my opinion.

well this guy has some crappy disney platinums. check out Blighton he has over 170 platinums and they are respectable platinums like GTA IV and dead rising 2 platinums. you can't beat that.

Whether this is a lone achievement or multiple people play on the account, it's mighty impressive - from a gaming point of view anyway.

I wouldn;t think there are enough hours in the day. I mean c'mon! How much does he play? Does he sleep? This cat needs a reality show called "Addicted to Gaming".

He seriously must average 10 hours a day minimum. No joke. Think about it. A normal gamer getting 100% on Demons Souls alone spends many many hours. Something doesn't add up.

NOT obtained but HACKED this guys a joke he wont admit that he HACKED and CHEATED his way to level 50.

The guy probably only focused on completing the trophy challenges in most of the games & probably has the money to spend on lots of games per month & the spare time to play them all per day.

Now it's true, he's been gathering trophies all this time. But some of them he got BEFORE he should have been able to. What I mean is when he has ONLINE trophies for games that don't even HAVE THEIR SERVERS UP yet.

Case in point, Uncharted 2.

When uncharted 2 game out first, almost ALL the trophies were single player based with the exception of 2. But you NEEDED THOSE TWO in order to get the platinum.

He has the uncharted 2 platinum 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE SERVER WENT UP. So tell me, how is he getting platinums for online games when there was no server for him to even play on to obtain them?

What is the purpose to play games?

Question is did he enjoy playing the really bad games just for the trophies? When trophy enhances the parts of the game, that's one thing, but when you have to spend hours of no real gameplay just to obtain the trophy, what's the point because in the end, it's just an "icon" to brag about.

If Trophy Level 50 is the max level, will he continue to play more games?

Guy has the Mortal Kombat 9 platinum. Either he has WAY too much time on his hands, multiple people are using the same account, or he's cheating...

The MK9 platinum requires you to play EACH CHARACTER for a total of 24 HOURS...That doesn't include the other requirements for each character, like 100 wins, 100 -alities, and 150 x-ray moves...per character.

That's just...insane.

Actually I'm pretty sure that people with so many trophies either cheat or hack or are millionaires and have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING else to do in life but play video games from dawn to late at night.

As for having two trophies at the same time, I did this just yesterday in God of War. Get 100 hits and get 200 hits. I got them very close to each other and they unlocked one after the other with a second difference. It's not a cheat, it just happend this way.

But I'm no where near this guy. Some platinums just take too much time to earn so I don't see how is it possible for some people to have so many platinums.

I've hit level 13 with only 765 trophies, 5 of which are platinum, so I would have thought that 259+ platinums would have made him a much higher level.
He did get Arkham Asylum though which is tough, so hat's off to the man.
