3DS Ambassadors Program: Top Ten NES Games

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Tomorrow (September 1) is a big day for Nintendo 3DS owners, more specifically, members of the exclusive Ambassadors Program.

These lucky players, who purchased the system before the August 12 price drop and accessed the virtual eShop, will be able to download ten NES titles to their systems free of charge.

Nintendo recently revealed all ten games, and the big N did a decent job creating a variety of hits from the system's past.

On that note, some are better than others.

With this in mind, we ranked each game (from ten- least, to one- most important) to let you know which ones to play first.

How about the original Legend of Zelda remade with the Echoes of Wisdom engine. Maybe throw in added dungeons, or expand the map to make the game longer than the original.

A Zelda 1 remake would be great, but not with the Echoes of Wisdom art style. I find it unappealing.

I'd even suggest a Link to the Past as well. Would love a more modern HD look using the Links Awakening / Echoes engine.

I would like Twilight Princess HD for Switch or Switch 2.
