Spy dream come true next year, which apparently comes the next installment of Splinter Cell.

Insider Gaming - "Ubisoft has cancelled yet another game, this time ending development on the Animal Crossing-inspired title Alterra."

HALIFAX (April 14, 2026) – Laid-off Ubisoft workers in Halifax have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a settlement with the video-game giant. The terms of the settlement, including the compensation employees will receive, is confidential.
I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.
Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.
But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.

Two-day event includes exclusive reveals, trailers and playable games on show floor.
Is Splinter Cell 6 releasing on 360 & PS3. If so, will it still have the massive co-op options that aren't found in PS3 games?
the last one was so good /s
After playing Deus Ex:HR, I'm really hoping the next SC better have nonlethal takedowns, better level design (bring back vents & crawlspaces!) and the ability to move/hide bodies.
Human Revolution isn't even a pure stealth game, but the stealth gameplay really puts Conviction to shame.
Don't try to make it a generic stock action game that are a dime a dozen this time. Conviction was the worst idea ever for the series. Completely eliminated the stealth aspect of the series. They in all respects probably should just stop the series before it goes to far. With the HD collection coming out this month that should be good enough for the Splinter cell games.
I really hope they go back to their roots. Sam Fisher shouldn't be the "predator" that kills everybody with one shot. I want to play the game stealthy, without killing anybody. Hope they can bring the series back to its glory
