You’re going to see what it’s about and we’re confident that it’s true to the spirit of what makes DMC great, and it’s true to our spirit at Ninja Theory of telling great, believable stories as well.”

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
I never doubted Ninja Theory on making a great story out of it...I just have a problem with the new Dante look(it's still not dante even in devil trigger mode)

No....just no
dmc is going to be crap and I hope people stand their ground and don't buy it to teach Capcom a lesson for once
Hopefully none of this "I'm going to try it" or "Give it a chance" crap because lets face it your just giving Capcom a happy sale and they'll not learn anything.
I haven't seen fans hate a new entry soooo much. LOL @ Capcom

Ever since this video, I have gone from seeing this game as a butchered DMC sequel/prequel to just another action game that just uses the DMC in the title and borrows some idea. So now I'm going to look at this game and critique it as if it's just another action adventure trying to make a breakthrough in the scene. So I suggest most of you do the same, since it won't have anything to do with the previous DMC.
Tameem confirms that this game is not a sequel/prequel to the previous DMC games as they've been saying for a long time. It's a whole new game with a different perspective, story and "characters" (Different Dante and etc.) Imagine Devil May Cry in an alternate dimension.
TL:DR? Just imagine this as just another new IP action adventure game trying to make a breakthrough and score big like other classic games have.
Hope it comes out on PC!.... Cuz the framerate will be terrible. Then I can play it at 120fps xD MUAHAHAHA
