And all I hear is, ah it's gonna be shit, ah it's gonna get shit reviews. Irony is if this were a thread about any other game they'd be the first to comment with the same ideological standpoint I put forward in my earlier comment.

With all due respect you don't have to read these comments if it's such a bother. You say there is no arrogance in your initial comment but who are you to talk down to fans and tell them to "shut the fuck up" simply because you don't like what's being said. That is an attitude of superiority which is a hallmark of arrogance.

It's not "something barely seen" it is displeasure over something we have all obviously seen. It not being afraid of change as you stated in post 13. People look to change to better an experience. Go on any game specific forum and you will find fans talking about how to improve an experience and you will find developers that listen. That's why the General Knoxx DLC for borderlands was the way it was. Fans were let down by no vault access after the game.

You also stated that "whining on N4G is going to do fuck all.". The burden of proof is on you. I have seen many developers accept changes across many websites. The Q&A with Robert Bowling on Reddit to address the hardcore being one example. You'd have to be naive to think developers don't look at free feedback from a community that cares about a specific franchise. They use a multitude of methods to do so.

Your final sentence is a logical fallacy in post 13. You can't state that with any authority. If a game goes a direction I don't like I don't support it with my money plain and simple. I think it's safe to take people at their word when they say they aren't supporting or are not going to buy something.

No one needs shutting up. The comments section doesn't need to serve as an automatic fellate button for every game there is. Just like in every post about COD you may get a little back and forth from BF players. Or you may see some back and forth between the whole PC vs Console.

If people get under your skin that much then perhaps N4G or even the internet in general isn't the place for you. No one is going to read your initial post and say "Yeah Optical is right I should shut up and never express myself for fear of being a general annoyance." Your absolutely right I actually bought ff13 think it would be a fairy decent game however as you started the lack of exploration, wonkey weapon system amongst other things really hurt the game to me. But there are 2 key differences in this case ff13 was released first then once everyone played it these issues came to light.

Dmc hasnt ben released yet in fact as of today only a minute and fifteen seconds of gameplay have been shown. Yes NT decided to change the story in this reboot. But I'm willing to give it a shot anyway at lest until more about the game is shown. Im a HUGE dmc fan buy I can honestly say dmc4 was pretty bad so was dmc 2
But change isn't necessarily bad.

I was,a VERY vocal person last year when NT first showed dmc I hated the new look. I still do. But its been a year he looks fundraiser coherent now and NT has already said that by the end of the game he will look like classic Dante. Lol its like what else can they do.
