"Resident Evil 5 - Fear you can't forget"

I will never forget how shit that game is.

I played Resident Evil 5's campaign with a friend through split-screen, never played resi 4. All I can say is I really didn't like the game, it just felt too primitive and things got boring very quickly.

What a terrible list of games and the author did next to nothing to back up his hatred for these games.

RE5 was a great fun co-op action game. Chris is my favorite RE character and RE5 improved on just about everything that Resident Evil 4 started.

Yes RE4 and RE5 are not traditional Resident Evil games but they are great action games.

The best old school RE games are REmake Gamecube , RE2 ,RE3 and RE0 Gamecube.

So let me get this straight, KOTOR II is unnecessary because it was unfinished? What about the loyal group of developers who provided missing content?

I don't get it...Sure, DMC2 wasn't as good as the other 3 but it was still a fun and good game.

And I don't give a damn what any1 says, RE5 was still fun, in spite of it's flaws. Co-Op was NOT it's flaw! It was merely the fact that you were always in the daylight.

I wanted Resident Evil 5..but when I played and finished it, I realised, that better I did not.. :)

If I didn't have the pre-rendered splendour of the REmake to compare it to which transcended the idea that it was a B-movie, I might have regarded Resident Evil 4 as a bit of a cult B-movie masterpiece. But instead it set the wrong tone in me. I know that it was meant to be creepy but the creepiness that I often got from it was for the WRONG reasons. Stuff like having a giant statue chasing you- it was predictable and kitsch. And monks with mounted machine guns in the middle of a castle - it's just not cricket. It's bizarre and possibly needlessly offensive. Thankfully, there were some really good bits in it like the bosses (sometimes really tough) and the maze and the sewers but the lack of even a polite nod towards having some puzzles (apart from a few) seemed like a glaring insult to anyone who has a bit of a brain in their head. It was like they'd stuck up a sign saying 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan? Come this way. Traditional gothic horror fan? Oh, that's a shame.. go and see Bioshock in a couple of years'. And the final boss might as well have been knocked up in someone's lunchtime- it was laughably easy. And riding off in to the sunset on waterskis? Capcom have had too many holidays in the sun I think! Get some misery back in your life! It's too much of a bizarre and slightly cynical game I think to call it classy. It is actually scary though, I'll give it that, when someone's switching on a chainsaw and you can't see where they are.

AWWW!! Dude SW KotOR 1 and 2 were my favorite games I've ever played!

Resident Evil 5 over 4 always.

I wish people wouldn't be so hard on KOTOR 2. It was a great game!

Super Mario 2? I thought that was fun back in the day.

Even though Mario 2 wasn't based on a real Mario game, I would have to say it's my favorite Mario, except the ending.

I never played RE5 alone, I bought it purly to play co-op, ive only played RE1 on PS1 when i was younger.
We played trough it, and enjoyed it.
Sure it got some flaws, but it was a damn fun co-op experianse.

Now I've got a platinum thropy from it as well :)
But I dont care to much for they policy lately... like that move "not working" with the regular edition of the game, but with the "gold"...
And the Versus shit, wheras the extra MP stuff cost 100NOK and was 100KB unlock key...

Still enjoyed it :)
