Konami’s flagship soccer title, Pro Evolution Soccer: 2011 3D, arrives on Nintendo’s 3DS. Is it top of the league or in danger of relegation?
The Pro Evolution Soccer series wasn’t exactly a regular on Nintendo’s first dual-screen wonder, but Konami’s latest installment brings the series out of handheld retirement with new 3D features to boot.
Great news for those of you who just got a shiny new 3DSXL and are looking to expand your 3DS library. Several 3DS games have gotten price reductions/clearanced out at Best Buy and for those of you who can get to your local store to search for the titles this evening you can still take advantage of the B2G1 sales on all 3DS games. These games were all marked at a local store, did not appear to be a manager special and required no override at the register when purchasing them. That said, as is often the case for price drops like these, prices may vary depending based on different stores. These prices will likely be IN STORE ONLY.
"I've never been a big follower of the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise, but I know enough to conclude that the series excels at providing a realistic and deep take on the sport. Certainly bringing such an established franchise to the 3DS with all of its features could only work in favor of the direction Konami wants to take with PES moving forward. I had my doubts, of course. Even if this particular title didn't suffer from the port treatment seen in other 3DS launch titles, I was unsure what to expect from this game. This looks pretty good. It's a shame there's nothing really here for gamers who want to mix things up with other players, though.
