A number of PC owners are reporting that Deus Ex: Human Revolution suffers from a crashing bug that dumps them back to the desktop or prevents the game from launching at all, but Eidos think they’ve found the culprits.

Jason Schreier claims Eidos-Montréal layoffs are tied to a canceled original game not mentioned in the studio’s official statement.

Eidos Montreal has imposed another round of layoffs, announcing today that 124 employees have been put out of work. Longtime studio head David Anfossi has also left, although it's unclear at this point whether he resigned or was also laid off.
I guess we’re never getting another deus ex game. Or any game directly made from this studio.

One of Eidos-Montréal's cancelled projects, a Lord of the Rings title with a Telltale-like story, gets its first look, revealing the setting.
This was happening to me unfortunately. I thought it didnt download correctly so am redownloading right now.. Hopefully this will work once I get the game installed again.
Thanks for the heads-up.
I'm still about 7 hours away from getting my preordered copy at Best Buy.
