
Gamescom 2011 saw an attendance of over 275 000 people from around the world. The Koelnmesse convention center in Cologne, Germany reached capacity over the weekend, causing thousands of fans to get stuck outside waiting for others to leave before they could enter.
As we move on from Gamescom 2011, we focus our sights on a local South African gaming event. The rAge Expo is set to kick off at the Coca-Cola dome in Johannesburg on 30 September – 2 October 2011.
The rAge expo is South Africa's computer, gaming and technology expo, and brings together popular and cutting-edge games, technology, gadgets and gaming-related products under one roof. The event also includes a massive LAN that caters for just over 2000 gamers.
