Capcom has announced the release of Breath of Fire IV on Steam.

GOG just uploaded a cryptic post with the silhouette of a character sprite and it looks a lot like Ryu from Breath of Fire IV.
Because GOG personally put the effort in to make the PC version playable on modern PCs, Capcom had little to no part in this remaster. If there's enough demand, we might get a BOF collection later. Just like Eiyuden got us the Suikoden 1/2, Armed Fantasia got us Wild Arms 1 and 2 on PS4/PS5, and I guess Ratatan got us the Patapon collection (although 1 and 2 were already available as PS classics).
GOG quietly released Breath of Fire IV exclusively on GOG, making the cult-classic JRPG natively playable on modern PCs for the first time.
I wish Capcom would just release a Breath of Fire 3 & 4 HD Collection already. I would buy it day one.
This franchise needs to come back. So many classics still yet untapped in decades. I would love a remake of 2 or 3.
Bought this in a heartbeat, I hope this shows Capcom we still want Breath of Fire, and hopefully GOG gets us BOF3.

That's funny, could have sworn that Evil Zone was considered to be one of the best/worst games of its time. That is to say that its so bad that a few like it because its so bad.
These people also admit that its bad. Not the blind and pointless devotion you find today.
Suikoden II is my favorite rpg game of all time.
Come on Konami give me the next Suikoden series.
