I don't think they can do anything about it I mean their spawning system is already better than other MP games.

I'd like the enemy base to be considered as outside the map. I don't know if stealing vehicles counts as 'base raping' but damn it's ALOT more annoying to me (more occurrences). This is followed by the noob squad who drive to the enemy base and C4/trace every vehicle then blow shit up whenever we hop in. This has to stop

They fixed it. EDIT: You need to HAVE SOMEONE (you, or on your team) actually looking at the person (currently) to have the marker follow.

but say your spotted and ur still in the open theres a bunch of ppl laying down behind cover on the other team will they be able to see your triangle even though there in cover or behind foliage if they can see your spot while laying behind a brick wall thats still a very flawed system i think.

I never thought Hardcore mode was very hardcore. It's easier to get kills and it's easy to camp because no one can see your location at long range. It's more realistic, which can be fun, but not hardcore.

The only way I would agree with you is if you could still "spot" in hardcore, but in a realistic pre-modern fashion. As in, I hit back, and my teammates hear, "Near that bush!" or something like that. Even something simple like having the map on a grid, and saying "A5!"

If I'm playing hardcore, I want at least a degree of realism, and the lack of any spotting ability whatsoever (especially when playing with people without mics) is quite unrealistic.

it the same thing 2d spotting would be mini map only 3d spotting is it follow the person you spotted hence 3d spotting

Basically, if you see an enemy on the screen in BF: Bad Company 2 for example, you can push the 'back' button on the XBOX controller, the 'select' button on the PS3 controller, or 'Q' on the PC, and it will stick a glowing orange triangle above that enemies head. This orange triangle can be seen by yourself, or any of your teammates for a few seconds (5 I believe). Even if that enemy runs behind cover, you'll still be able to see the orange triangle. They will also show up on your mini-map, which is considered 2D spotting (just like Call of Duty). Hope that helps man.

I for one ALWAYS use the spot feature (PS3). Even if i have a clear shot on the target because in the chance I miss, someone can follow it up. Not only that but if you spot, I feel it encourages others to spot as well. Of course sometimes it doesn't but we'll just keep spotting eh? ;)

btw, I don't find it awkward at all to press the select button. IMO the PS1/2/3 controller is the best controller i've ever used. Sure the triggers need to be changed but thats about it. I find the 360 controller the second 3rd worst i'v ever used with the original Xbox 2nd, and the N64 1st.

I spot ALL the time on PS3. Sometimes I even try to spot AND parachute when playing CoD.

Single player campaigns take time and effort... EA ain't got time for that.

DICE have already stated that they actually don't know how to. They literally have no idea what made BC2 so good and clearly have no idea how to repeat it.

Which is so ignorant it almost physically hurts.

They have the damn templates lol. Everyone LOVED Battlefield all the way up through BF4. Everything after BF4 is where fans started getting divided because they started dumbing down the gameplay.

So they need to go back to the favorites. Bad Company 2. BF3 and BF4.

Take those games. Take the exact same gameplay. Update the graphics. Add some different game modes. Make new maps. Add new guns. Choose two armies. And make a single player campaign.

That's seriously it. They need to quit trying to make BF something it isn't. They have everything they need. Why they can't figure this out just hurts my brain trying to understand.

Anything from BF2 - BF4 would work fine. Those were all great games.

I thought BF3 and 4 were great, and I've been playing since 1942.
