IGN - We catch our first in-game glimpse of the new Dante.

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
Poor Dante :(
I honestly hope this game crashes and burns.
To be honest, the only way for this game to win back some of its fans is if Ninja Theory announces a custom skin to play as original Dante.
Idc it looks good to me. I liked the first dmc because of the horrorish re vibe but dmc4 was awful and NT make the best story driven games so im excited to see what they do here. Il play it before i say it sucks, people already made their minds up even though capcom sucks. NT are far better imo.
Will take more than an original Dante skin to make this game better. Engine is a main problem aswell. If this game was being developed by Capcom using MT framework engine, stuck with Dante being half demon Half human, then I bet the complaints for this game would drastically decrease. Bottom line, they should have made DMC5.
