The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

I was under the delusion that devs made games that the consumers want, yet Capcom and NT seem dead set on making it their way regardless of what the fans want.
I don't wish ill on anyone but if the game flops they deserve it for being so stubborn.
Why is the media defending this game so much anyway? Specially Eurogamer that ripped apart the PS3 version of Bayonetta because it ran at 40fps (60fps on the Xbox), because they said frame-rate is something very important for hack & slash games. But now they are loving this one that is running at 30fps? Weird.

I saw the new trailer and the camera is way too far, the action is slow as hell and the new Dante still looks like a meth addict with make-up. And why the hell are the enemies just standing there waiting to be obliterated anyway? Most of the combos are just a copy/paste of Nero from DMC4 but in slow-motion. The game is so sluggish they had to edit it heavily to look fast.

So much negativity around this game!!! I wonder how everything will turn out. I know I'll miss the old dante but hopefully they keep the gameplay alive and better.
What I continuously don't understand is when Ninja Theory keeps saying "Dane is young in this game so he's blah blah..."
Dante was YOUNG in Devil May Cry 3! If this is supposed to be an origins story, do it right and bring back the DMC3 Dante!
But that Ninja Theory dev has this weird obsession with making Dante look like himself.
