'X-Men Destiny' to include 'First Class' costumes

X-Men Destiny is to feature bonus character costumes from the X-Men: First Class movie.

Speaking to Digital Spy at gamescom 2011, game designer Zac Alcampo said that outfits from the Brian Vaughn film will appear in the game as unlockable bonuses.

"There may be some secret First Class suits in the game," said Alcampo. "It's not necessarily associated with the movie, but it's all X-Men. We're all riding the same wave here."

X-Men Destiny is a third-person action-adventure published by Activision and developed by Silicon Knights. Its storyline follows three new mutant characters in the wake of Professor Xavier's death. Players will be able to enrol in missions for both the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Looks like crap. Again just hoping that a least none of those new crappy characters makes it somehow into the comics .

And that it's the final nail on the activision xmen license ... so better publishers and devs could properly use it

Similar to the game to movie transition, movies have not always transitioned very well. (Dare I mention Charlie’s Angels for GameCube?) I agree with the 1st spiderman. I have it on DC though. Hulk UD is a fun game as well.

Stalmaster2823d ago

Probably in the minority but I really enjoyed Batman Begins before the Arkham series came along.

MrsNesbitt2823d ago

Actually really enjoyed that too! But had to opt for Batman Returns on the SNES

spider-man ten pin bowling was the best

Deadpool was trash though, it's surprising to me that Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker isn't on the list but then again that's probably a good thing.

Ah yes and Spider-Man (2000) man that game was my childhood but the sequel Enter Electro was so underwhelming.
