I think I will just stick with the regular controller!

"It comes with two extra buttons and shiny lights." Look at how hard it was to type that without inserting all sorts of garbage like "OMG IT COMES WITH A 15' CABLE, AND NOT JUST ANY CABLE, A LIGHTWEIGHT CABLE...BRAIDED TOO".

The last platform anyone should be playing bf3 on.

I see for your comments you are a PS3 gamer like me and let me tell you that: you cocky PS3 owners are as bad as PC elitists and 360 nitpickers.

A good game is a good game regardless of platform. Battlefield 3 will be just as good of a game regardless of controller, framerate, resolution, infrastructure and any other differences unless it's broken, which we can't tell so far. The main content, the game, don't change.

Now with internet everyone keeps comparing versions, which is ok, but people are now more interested in complaining about ridiculous minimum stuff than enjoying the games. What's wrong with you people?

ginsunuva5394d ago

I meant that this should be played on pc. I am a PS fan, but I know for a fact the console versions can't compare to the pc version.
The console versions are just for extra money making for people who don't know better.

BISHOP-BRASIL5394d ago

Still just confirmed what I said... Oh please enlighten me of how will be the experience on PC oh so different?

Graphics? Are you really going to play BF3 just because of resolution, framerate and what not? Might as well stop at the videos...

Destruction? Although better detailed in PC, destruction is still present on consoles, none the less it's part of the experience in both campaing and multiplayer all the same as previously stated by DICE.

Controller? It's up to preference, don't matter how much you argue K/M to be better, most console gamers just prefer gamepads.

Mods? It's not even part of the game, not made by the original developer, you won't get a glimpse of it unless you actively look for it. I can understand using mods to enhance a good game you bought after you're done with it, but would you buy a bad game to see if good mods come later? And unless it would of be a bad game there's no logical reason to avoid it. If the game itself is good than it should be good in all platforms.

The only game changer that could arguably appear is number of players online, but is that alone enough reason to avoid a game?

Obviously the game can release and we discover one version is broken, for all we know PC could have some stupid DRM that put's you away from playing it too! But we don't know it yet, there's no reason as of now to not avoid it in any platform.

well 64 players is THE reason. 12vs12 w 4 tanks and 4 jets leaves like 2 or 3 infantry per side.

This controller works perfectly fine, the programmable buttons make it so that I don't even need to press the face buttons when I'm in a firefight. All the basic functions can be remapped to the 4 shoulder and 2 trigger buttons on the top. That means I don't ever have to take my finger off of the aiming joystick.

Otherwords, it's almost as good as a mouse and keyboard (Which is what the controller is supposed to replicate).

Battlefield 3 Cut Missions From Campaign Detailed by Former DICE Dev

Battlefield 3's former Lead Designer has revealed that there were two cut missions from the main campaign

XiNatsuDragnel503d ago

I wish someone can get those EA game leaks to see all the cut content ngl

anast503d ago

Get rid of campaigns, move the game to mobile, and try to compete with warzone. They would save time and money.

Bf4 was fun hope the new bf is just as good.

hmmm I think there will be no old BF glory days for EA since they are loyal to their greediness and laziness :D

Knightofelemia1288d ago

You're asking for a miracle with EA that will never happen unless they can exploit the money making schemes behind it.

MadLad1288d ago

We'll see what happens now that Zampella is overlooking the series.
